UKAS
DAS Certification, the UK Head Office is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), which was formally known as the National Accreditation Council for Certification Bodies. UKAS, acting on behalf of the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, and in conjunction with the European Cooperation for Accreditation (EA), impose strict rules for registrars; particularly with regard to assessor competence, independence and impartiality. UKAS regularly visit DAS to satisfy themselves that the rules are being followed.
